The Sleep Lady

the sleep lady bookThe Sleep Lady is a consultant on baby and child sleep. On her site, you can sign up for a free monthly newsletter, learn about her book Good Night, Sleep Tight: The Sleep Lady’s Gentle Guide to Helping Your Child Go to Sleep , Stay Asleep, And Wake Up Happy (we both own a copy) and find helpful information, like the average hours of sleep children need at different ages.

We find her newsletter often gives us needed inspiration about dealing with our kids’ sleep.

The Sleep Lady offers a practical approach for those seemingly impossible nap and bedtime challenges. She breaks down sleep into manageable topics–early risers, night feeds, moving bedtimes and more.

Lyndsey practiced the Sleeplady Shuffle with eleven month old Elias to wean him from night feeds. It takes time and patience, but it works.
