Simple Tips
Stokke’s Tripp Trapp Chair for Big Kids
We love the Tripp Trapp chair (formerly known as the KinderZeat) for toddlers, but for big kids?
The truth is they’re fabulous.
Preschoolers are tall enough to sit in a real chair at the kitchen table, and small enough to bounce, tip, slide and fall out of it. At every meal.
We pulled our Tripp Trapp chairs from the closet, adjusted them to the right size and voila! (A little) more peace at the dinner table.
FYI, Stokke’s site has a link to a Cornell study discussing how the Tripp Trapp improves preschoolers functioning while sitting. You can also download a user guide to figure out how to adjust the chair to your child’s size.
For babies and young toddlers, get the Stokke Baby Rail (and the cushion, though Kelly finds the seat easier to clean and comfortable for Oliver without the cushion).
