Yummy Sugarless Yogurt

For convenience, we used to buy the 6-packs of organic baby yogurts at the market. But then we looked at the label and noticed the high sugar content.

Luckily, babies like plain yogurt. And once you get into the habit, it’s easy to plop a few spoonfuls into a small plastic container for on the go.

To take little ones off sugared yogurt, mix plain with their usual, adding more plain each time. If kids miss the sweetness, a touch of Agave Nectar does the trick.

Another idea is an organic fruit spread. Toddlers on up can stir it in themselves. Kids love to watch the jam swirl and the yogurt turn colors. Add a piece of fruit on top, or a dot of the fruit spread.

Yogurt is also our favorite vegetable and fruit dip.

Ingredients:
Plain whole fat (for babies) or low fat yogurt (try our favorite, goat yogurt)
Agave Nectar
Fruit spread
