Blueair Air Purifier

We’ve dabbled with the concept of air purifiers for years. What do they do? Will they make the bedroom sound like an air plane hangar? Do they make a difference?

When allergy season started this year, we decided we won’t know until we try them. We researched a few models, and then we purchased.

We chose the Blueair. Mainly because of it’s filter system, quieter tone and energy efficiency. There’s some debate that Blueair lacks the celebrated HEPA filter technology–from our experience, their alternative filter system has what it takes.

We notice less dust in the house, and most importantly, we think easier breathing.

The Blueair’s are decent looking, blend well into the landscape of a room, and set to level 2 at night and 3 to 4 during the daytime, the noise doesn’t bother us. We have 402s in the bedrooms, and a 601 in our larger living space (though some save the quiet Blueair for bedrooms and use an IQAir for common spaces).

We don’t suffer from serious allergies, so more research may be needed for those situations. AllergyBuyersClub is one place to start.

And check out the environmentally friendly, 100% recyclable Bluair ECO10 (max room size 298 square feet).
