Safe Nail Polish

We discovered natural nail polish during pregnancy and never went back to the old stuff.

Natural nail care products (including polish removers) are free of acetate, formaldehyde, toluene, and phthalates.

The usual advice is to avoid nail polish for the first trimester–with these safer nail products we can use them throughout pregnancy.

When we get our nails done during pregnancy, we look for sterilized tools (or bring our own) and plenty of ventilation. Nail salons are used to customers bringing gear–we’ve been known to carry our own pedicure tub.
