Michael Olaff Montessori

The Michael Olaff Montessori Company is a great place to learn about Montessori, and find Montessori materials for home as well as other unique natural toys.

Started by two teenage sisters who named their store after their baby brother, Michael Olaff is a family company that’s grown into a Montessori resource for parents and teachers.

We discovered Michael Olaff through their Joyful Child catalogue. The Joyful Child introduces the Montessori approach in simple descriptions that correlate to toys and items in the catalogue for children ages birth to three. Child of the World is their catalogue for ages four through twelve.

The catalogues are available in pdf on the site, we prefer calling the toll free number (888-880-9235) to order our own. The Joyful Child is especially helpful when thinking about child development and activities for kids at home.
