OXO Brite Non-Chlorine Bleach

oxo briteOk, we found it–the non-toxic, natural non-chlorine bleach that truly whitens and brightens our clothes, OXO Brite. It’s amazing.

We pour a few scoops into a bucket of warm water, soak our clothes (whites and colors) and voila, the stains are gone!

We’re talking about grungy stains that have been there a long time. Juice, berries, tomato sauce, soiled cloth diapers–OXO Brite can handle it.

OXO Brite can be used in the washing machine, as well as on carpets and upholstery (just follow directions and first test clean an out of view section). It’s sometimes back ordered online, we’ve spotted OXO Brite at Whole Foods and other local stores.

We soak clothes in the bucket up to six hours (like a science experiment), and the results are so good we don’t mind the added laundry step. Plus we feel like we’re getting back to basics.
