Boiron Children’s Coldcalm

As fall brings cooler weather, we’re preparing for the start of cold season. We rely on our Head Cold Protocol and Natural Cough Remedies for the kids. We recently discovered another helpful potion–Boiron Children’s Coldcalm.

Coldcalm is a gentle homeopathic remedy that helps relieve discomfort. When given at the first sign of symptoms, Coldcalm can reduce the severity of a cold. We try to give Coldcalm when we first notice sniffling and/or a sore throat, though we’ve also had good results mid-cold.

We appreciate the simplicity of Coldcalm. The kids love to take it. As with all homeopathic remedies, we avoid food and water 15 minutes before and after taking it, and mint flavors altogether as they can reduce effectiveness. Boiron recommends checking with a doctor before using Coldcalm for children under three years old.
